Six Cantilevered Chairs for Stendig
The RH-304 chair was designed by Robert Haussmann in the late 1950s and was famously used soon after in UNESCO’s Paris headquarters. It has been a classic ever since. The linear simplicity and functional elegance bespeak Haussmann’s early training at the side of Bauhaus and de Stijl masters such as Gerrit Rietveld. They are comfortable, versatile, and unusually luxurious.
This set of chairs was retailed by Stendig in the 1970s and has recently been reupholstered.
