Maison Baguès was founded in 1840 by Noël Baguès and originally produced liturgical bronzes for cathedrals. The company soon expanded into lighting with the advent of electricity. It remains a prominent design house, having worked with renowned designers and decorators, including Jansen, Raymond Subes and Armand Albert Rateau. Each piece is hand assembled in France, using traditional techniques.
Produced in the Mid-20th Century, these darling wall lights feature Bagués’ iconic floral and urn design. In gilt metal with a shower of glass leaves and a flowerhead. The sleeves on the twin branches are original. Original label intact.
