These beautifully proportioned chairs were designed by Bernt Petersen, a cabinetmaker often known simply as Bernt, who trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and worked for Hans Wegner before starting his own studio in 1963. The model 304 armchair was produced by Søborg Møbler.
The caning is in excellent condition and the original leather cushions are beautifully patinated.
