Estrid Ericson, the founder of department store Svenkst Tenn (which means Swedish Pewter) was an art teacher and pewter designer. In the early decades of its existence in Stockholm, she sold her own imaginative pewter designs and those of some of the outstanding designers of the time, such as Nils Fougstedt.
This petite table lamp is from that period. The delicate knots and arabesques are beautifully executed.
Rewired, and sold with paper shade. Dimensions of lamp with shade are 19″ high x 13″ diameter.
