This is one of the most beautiful televisions we have ever seen. The streamlined cabinet was probably designed by Bengt-Johan Gullberg, who was commissioned by Aga in the 1960s to create uniquely modern furniture to house their ground breaking television technology. The fine inlay of the sans serif “Aga” name is a testament to the cabinetmaker’s skill. Eventually, Aga television production was merged with Phillips and the beauty of their products took a turn in another direction.
