Esko Pajamies is best known for the well-made and playful furniture he designed for Asko in the 1960s and 70s, and this sofa is from his “Bonanza” line for the Finnish manufacturer. In 1979 he received the Finnish State Award for Art. The Bonanza sofa is more commonly available with a beechwood frame; we prefer the darker oak with this angular design.
Fully restored and recovered in Schumacher’s Belgian linen.
