Børge Mogensen studied under Kaare Klint, was one of the founding designers of Fredericia in Denmark, and helped to bring Danish modern design to global attention. The model 2214 settee is one of our favorite Mogensen designs. The sense of shelter created by the high arms, and the wonderful curves of the frame, make it a truly inviting design. We have reupholstered in a sumptuous Manuel Canovas cotton velvet with leather trim.
