Bruno Gambone (b. 1936) began his artistic career early in his father’s Florence studio. After spending several years in New York in the 1960s among leading contemporary artists, he returned to Italy, settling in Milan and later Florence to continue his ceramic art. Following his father’s death in 1969, he took over the family studio and expanded into glass and jewelry design. Gambone has been an influential figure in the Italian arts and crafts scene, serving as President and Honorary President of ASNART and holding membership in the Italian National Ceramics Council and the Academy of Geneva.
