A biomorphic sculpture by Bronx-born Elisa D’Arrigo. It has the gravity and presence of an object of natural history–a fossilized dinosaur egg, or a petrified plant specimen. The title expresses what the coiled form seems to suggest–that despite its seeming age, this bud is bound to blossom…or perhaps to hatch.
