Danish cabinetmakers of the early to mid 20th century were deeply influenced by 18th century English furniture makers, who were themselves enthralled by Chinese design. This is one of the aspects of Scandinavian Modern design that we particularly love: that it embraces such a long history but succeeds in expressing something new.

Behind the elegantly carved doors of this cabinet, there are five drawers and two shelves in paler birch wood. Original key included.
