Fritz Hansen opened the doors of his Copenhagen workshop in 1885. With the help of his son Christian, the company soon established its reputation for outstanding quality and forward-looking design. They went on to collaborate with some of the masters of the Danish modern era, from Kaare Klint to Arne Jacobsen to Verner Panton.

The Model 1514 chair curves gently around the back and stands on darkly stained, minimalist beech legs. Recently reupholstered in an olive linen blend from Savel.
