Wool upholstery, leather, stained beech
51 1/2″ wide x 28″ deep x 29 1/2″ high (seat height 17″)

Fritz Hansen opened the doors of his Copenhagen workshop in 1885. With the help of his son Christian, the company soon established its reputation for outstanding quality and forward-looking design. They went on to collaborate with some of the masters of the Danish modern era, from Kaare Klint to Arne Jacobsen to Verner Panton.

This two-seater settee is a wonderful example of the timelessness of Hansen’s work of this period. The proportions are perfect, the profile clean and elegant. Upholstered in an alpaca herringbone fabric, with leather trim.
