Gunnel Nyman was one of the founders of modern Finnish glass design. Her life was short, but her work had a lasting influence on post-War Finnish designers, and is included in the permanent collections of many museums, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York.
A graceful, blown and etched, clear glass table lamp in a tear-drop shape with a simple, patinated brass collar.
Dimensions of the base, without hardware or shade, are 11 1/2″ high x 5 1/2″ diameter.
