Josef Frank and Estrid Ericson, in the retail laboratory that was Svenkst Tenn, spearheaded what has come to be known as Swedish Modern. Frank’s design approach was playful, imaginative and timeless. Vintage examples of his furniture remain quite sought after.
The model 2148 floor lamp is tall and elegant. This example is clad in braided leather. Rewired for use in the U.S. Original sockets have been replaced.
