Dutch designer Gerard van den Berg created this sculptural sofa in 1970 for Montis, a company he founded with his brother. He was turning a corner from classic Mid-Century design to a more contemporary aesthetic. The sofa has an almost biomorphic presence. The original leather has been replaced with a soft and durable curly shearling.
