Lisa Johansson-Pape once said that she became a lighting designer by accident. Her training was in furniture design, but “I had to make lamps during the war.” She would become one of the most important Nordic designers of lighting in the 20th century.
This slender floor lamp is wrapped in leather which has developed a perfect vintage patina. Rewired for use in the U.S.
