Pair of 1930s Lounge Chairs by Hans Buser
Switzerland
1930s
Linen, wood, down
34″ wide x 37″ deep x 32″ high (seat height 17″)
This tufted pair of chairs was designed by Swiss architect Hans Buser in the 1930s, probably for the Swiss furniture retailer Simmen.
The wide, firm back and down seat cushion are a wonderfully comfortable combination. Fully restored and reupholstered in a Pierre Frey linen, with Manuel Canovas trim.
