Georg Kofoed was the highly accomplished cabinetmaker responsible for realizing the designs of Flemming Lassen, one of the greatest Nordic architects of the pre-war period. Kofoed’s surviving pieces are collectible for their outstanding quality of construction and excellent proportions. There are a number of pieces on the market that claim to be in the style of Georg Kofoed, but any chairs that are actually from his workshop are very rare indeed. These retain the original paper labels on their inner frame.

We have fully restored them, retaining as many of the original interior materials as possible and supplementing where necessary with natural materials, so that they will be ready for the next 80 years of their life. Recovered in high quality shearling.
