Poul Henningsen was not seeking beauty of form in his revolutionary design, but optimal quality of light. Nevertheless, the lamp he created after much trial and error in collaboration with Louis Poulsen achieves both so perfectly that it has never gone out of production and has attained the status of design icon.
The vintage pair pictured here are wonderfully patinated from their use outdoors. We have a total of four in our collection.
