Oiva Parviainen was hired right out of design school by the Finnish design firm Lahden Lepokalusto. Parviainen’s stylish “Susanna” line appeared in Lepokalusto’s first catalog, and was an immediate success with both customers and the press. They are extremely well-made and comfortable chairs, recovered in a decadently soft, combed shearling.
