This design is one profile in a line called “Nordlys,” or Northern Lights, by Danish designer Eric Wärnå for Kemp & Lauritzen. Produced for a very short period in the 1960s, they have a timeless elegance. Interlocking cylinders of fluted glass, held in a brass frame, diffuse the light quite beautifully.
