Roland Wilhelmsson designed a series of solid pine furniture for Karl Andersson & Söner in the latter half of the 20th century. This dining table is one of several variations on a theme. Despite its simple profile, there is evident detail in the grain of the wood and the subtlety and skill of the joinery, seen on the top and sides of the circular tabletop, and where the legs meet the stretchers. A beautifully made thing, built to last.
