The Danish Severin Hansen is most recognized for his tables, which seem to embody Coco Chanel’s dictum that “elegance is refusal.” His rigorously thoughtful minimalism is evident in such details as the tapering legs and the mitered corner–his design signature.
This beautiful writing table with its four streamlined drawers is one of his iconic designs. Our vintage example is oak, which we prefer to the more commonly available teak and rosewood.
