A work of exquisite craftsmanship, this single side chair rewards close examination. The sinuous mahogany frame is hand carved, and the patinated leather seat and back are tooled and gilt to represent a fantastical moth, its lower wings decorated with a galaxy of stamped gold stars and moons. We have never seen its like.
